Brightline / Branding, Graphics & Interior Design

Role: Creative Director

When Brightline opened in 2017 it was the first privately owned rail service in the United States in over 100 years. Its passenger train service runs between Miami and Orlando, with stops in Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. The LAB’s engagement with this project began with a phase of ethnographic research and strategy to determine the best brand positioning possible for the target demographic. This led to naming and brand identity development, train exterior graphics, passenger car interior design, and restroom and café car interior design. We designed the end-to-end holistic passenger experience in a way that’s upscale yet approachable, providing passengers with a comfortable, convenient, premier travel experience.
